Levia is neither a clinic nor a pharmacy

Digital platforms can bring several stages into one experience. That does not mean one company performs all of them. In the journey intermediated by Levia, each participant retains a specific responsibility.

Levia's role

Levia coordinates technology, information, and touchpoints. Its role is to facilitate the connection between the client, partner physician, and partner pharmacy. Levia does not diagnose, prescribe, sell, or dispense medicines.

The partner physician's role

The physician or medical service conducts the assessment independently. They review history, risks, alternatives, and any possible indication. A questionnaire or consultation does not guarantee a prescription.

The partner pharmacy's role

When a valid prescription exists, a licensed pharmacy handles sale and dispensing. Stock, prescription retention, storage, and delivery rules depend on the product and the pharmacy's operation.

Why the distinction matters

Clear roles help clients know whom to contact. Clinical questions belong with the responsible professional; product and dispensing questions belong with the pharmacy; Levia can help with organization of the experience.

Transparency is part of care

A trustworthy digital experience explains limits and responsibilities. Levia intermediates the journey without replacing clinical autonomy or pharmacy obligations.
